January 28th
Start the year of 2012 right with prayer and asking God to be in the center of it. We cannot be successful in our ministries if we are not in constant communication with our Lord!!! The Franco-Haitian Youth Federation will be hosting a half night of Prayer for all Federation officers, AY leaders, and youth with guest speaker Pastor David Thompson!!! The prayer will be from 8pm-12am. Immediately following will be refreshments for all. The prayer will be located at the Beraca French SDA Church (91-19 191st St Hollis, NY 11423)

Open mic discussion entitled: How did I meet Jesus? for this we will have an open discussion as to how we all had our individual and unique encounters with Jesus. This will be the AY for this particular Sabbath and all are invited to participate (location: most likely sanctuary but that is subject to change).
February 3
Bible Study: Bible study will be facilitated by Jonathan Coicou and it will most likely be a continuation on the last bible study which covered a little bit of bible prophecy.
February 10: Vesper
This vesper entitled, “How did I know he/she is the one?” will be our “Valentine’s Day special” and we will invite guest speakers such as couples who have been together for YEARS talk about how they knew the person they married was who God chosen for him or her.
February 25: Black History Day
This Sabbath will most likely be in partnership with the Education Department and we will have guest speaker Dr. Stephen L. Williams Sr, Director of Communications from Northeastern Conference who will come and do a Black History seminar with us. He is also the same man that does the black heritage module for the Senior Youth Leadership class where he talks about the impact on Africans on the development of the bible.
